Regal Motel

The female manager does a good job trying to keep the motel safe and that rules are followed . Plus screen potential troublemakers away. I know you aren't supposed to judge people without knowing them. But I can understand why management has to screen new guests carefully drawing on past experiences as well in order to have a pleasant running establishment or guests will take over the place and have havoc everywhere. The rooms were acceptable, although a bit more cleaning detail to dust collected on vanity light fixtures and a few cobwebs to sweep away would be nice. Yet the others areas were clean. Overall it was acceptable for the amount charged. I wasnt expecting Sheraton Hotel accommodations and amenities. I like that cameras are everywhere on the exterior , in the parking lot etc. I trust they are being monitored. So if guest's are following their rental agreement then that should add more of a sense of safely and you will be called out if you are in violation of your agreement or causing any kind of disturbance to others . I would stay here again if necessary if in need of a place to stay safely .

Right in downtown Oxnard. I wasn't expecting much just due to outward appearance, but I must say, the woman who runs the place is fantastic. Very accommodating and works hard to keep the place screened for trouble.makers and takes care of things ASAP. Love the security of the cameras all over the exterior. The rooms are old and could use updating but having her there made our stay feel safe and secured. Grateful for the time we spent and for Sharon working as hard as she does.

The room was terrific and management is always gracious everytime I come to stay. This year they put hardwood floors in so with the carpet gone and the mattress has a wrap around it my wife had no worries about bedbugs. Front desk people were friendly and told me I left the interior lights on in my car so when the battery died they helped get it started. We stayed for two weeks, but when we left I forgot to take my ipad plugged into the wall, but the housekeeper turned it in and I picked it up at midnight with no problem. My wife said we should give the place five stars, good place to stay and price cant be beat.

Great Place. The room were large, with lot's of amenities. 3 great dining choices just next door. A large grocery store just across the street. 5 minutes from the park, library, post office, and the heritage park. Took a bus to the Naval yard and 20 minutes to the nearest beach. The staff was more than helpful. Even checked on me daily to see if I needed anything. Sharon was a darling and I was reluctant to leave. I stayed a month and it was really good to be out of a nursing home. I would recommend this place to all my veteran friends. Best price and service by far.

The room is big and comfortable. The internet is hit or miss, and in my room it was a miss. But they allow you to keep a pet in your room and the maid service is good. Weekly rate and a small kitchenette are nice as well.

Found Regal Motel during a round country road trip earlier this year. I stayed here for around 2 months and I have very few negative things to say. The rate is advertised as around 300 a week but it was a bit higher than that. From the outside, the motel isn't very appealing but the rooms are nice. Most rooms have 2 queen beds, fridge/freezers, microwave, TVs, and by request hot plates, and great wifi.

Cute place super close to the ocean. We stopped here on our way up north, and I loved the staff! Sharman totally had me laughing! They have new bedding, furniture, and pretty colors--just what you'd hope to find as opposed to some of the other places we've stayed on this trip with out-dated everything. Highly recommend! We are staying again on our way back home!

Very nice employees, very organized place, housecleaning always on time and on point. Beds were very clean, rooms were very organized and had extra furniture. Great for traveling or just a few nights getaway from home. It's a really great motel, close to stores, liquor stores, 7 eleven, laundromat, etc. Quiet place at night, barely any problems, This motel is pet friendly. I highly recommend to anyone.
